A good mate of mine asked me to do the poster for his latest gig. The idea for the logo was something I was thinking about doing for a while.
Was good fun to draw.

Had a great time getting involved in the latest Without Walls show.
Was at Ambush Gallery in Waterloo a couple of weeks ago with some really good artists getting involved.

Everyone designed a T-Shirt to sell and also put some works up on the wall.
For the first time I had a go at building my own frames. It turned out pretty good.

Heres’s my entry for the Cricket Art Prize.
Trying to capture some of what it felt like to sit in the slips for hours and hours on a Saturday afternoon.
The tiredness. The pasty-white sunscreen mixed with the bright red sun burn. The annoyance as a terrible batter hangs around after a catch gets put down.
Wanting to get home so you could meet everyone later at the pub.
Done with pencil, paint and charcoal.

Here is my entry for the Doughboy Pizza comp.
It started with the shape of a pizza in the bottom section and it went from there.

Here is something I did a while ago. It was for a poster show.
The whole was done for fun. I was kinda obsessed with boxers and astronauts at the time, so I decided to pit them against each other. The other 3 pictures are the side attractions that would have run alongside the fight.
The idea was to make everything look those old photographs that have been hand coloured. I used really watered down paint and different kinds of ink and watercolours.

Here’s something I did recently that went up at my old university.
Its a man sitting at a desk. I used watered down acrylic paints and black ink.
I posted a few close-ups so you can see some of the details.
